    Take Highway 8 North - the Kitchener Exit
    Take Highway 85 towards Waterloo (the Conestoga Expwy)
    Take the 2nd Wellington St. Exit - WEST
    Go all the way until King St. and make a Right. Go passed the Grand River Hospital. Our new office is at the corner of Mt. Hope and King St., just next door to Chess for Kids. There's a bus stop at the front door. Pull into the driveway and park around back. It's free.
    From Stratford
    Take Highway 7-8, through Kitchener as it turns into the Conestoga Expressway - (Hwy 85)
    Then follow directions above
    From Elmira and north
    Come down King St.
    Go thru uptown Waterloo. We are just one block beyond Union St. (the Clarica - Sun Life office tower is on your right).
    Stay in your left lane and turn into the driveway when you see the sign on your left. Our driveway is between 940 and 938 King St. It's a small brown house that sticks out into the sidewalk.
    From Guelph
    Take Highway 7 west, it becomes Victoria St. Unfortunately there is a major bottleneck near the Conestoga Parkway, so expect some delays.
    Go until you see the signs for Highway 85 North at Burger King.
    Turn left at the Burger King then turn right at the Highway 85 ramp
    Take the 2nd Wellington exit and head toward King St. Follow the directions above.

    After raiload bridge turn Right at the first light

    • Appointment Guidelines

    • 1st time patients must have a valid OHIP card if they live in Ontario
    • Students may have out of Province coverage, but Quebec students have to pay cash
    • Foreign students must have UHIP or other valid insurance. Some UHIP fees are not covered.
    • We will provide receipts for all office visits if your insurance requires it.

    Missed appointments- 24 hour notice is required. You will be billed $30 if you don't call.
    What is NOT COVERED by OHIP or Insurance

    • Warts on the hands or fingers
    • Wrinkles, age spots, blemishes, skin tags, benign lesions
    The cost for a visit not covered by OHIP may be as much as $85-100, depending on the nature of the problem, and whether or not any procedures are performed.

    What we are not?
    • We are not a full service dermatology clinic. However, we do refer to dermatologists and other surgical specialists if necessary.
    • We do not have a laser, we do not do face-lifts, or varicose veins etc.
    • We are primarily a medical acne and wart clinic. That is what we do best.
    • Referrals are not required from your doctor.
    What you need to bring to your appointment
    • A list of your medications that you have taken in the past.
    • You must come 10-15 minutes early to fill in the history form. If you have a language problems, or can't read, please come in ahead of time to pick up the 3 page questionnaire. It must be completed for an acne evaluation.
    • If you are just here for a plantar wart, or to check a lesion, and if you don't have acne, you may just have to fill in the single registration sheet.
    What you should not bring to your appointment
    • Do not use Perfume or colognes
    • Do not smoke before your appt.
    • Do not bring food or drink into the clinic.
    Prescription Policies
    • Prescriptions will not generally be phoned in. If a follow-up appointment is scheduled for you, we will phone in a repeat for that visit only. There will be a $10.00 charge for any other prescriptions.
